A booking voucher is sent to you by email with details of your order which you must present to the hire desk when you collect the vehicle. You can also view and print the voucher out on the 'Manage your bookings' section of the website.
You can manage your booking only if you register with us online when you book your vehicle. This allows you to cancel bookings if you give us more than 24 hours' notice and also view your booking history.
A minimum of 4 working hours must be given for bookings made online. If you need a van sooner than 4 working hours contact your local branch. Please note that we may require more notice for specialist vehicles or during particularly busy periods.
We require two other forms of valid identification (other than your driving licence) for you and each named driver which may be a bank statement, credit card statement or utility bill (which is no more than three (3) months old) and sets out the current address of the relevant driver.
No. We can only accept original hard copies provided in person at the time of hire for proof of address. Data protection laws mean that we cannot accept electronic copies emailed from smartphones or mobile devices while you are at the branch.
All drivers must be 21 years of age or over but under 71 years of age and resident in the UK to hire all vehicles excluding cars, people carriers, 7.5t and minibuses. For these vehicles you must be 25 years of age or over. An additional £10.00 a day will be charged for all drivers aged 21-24.
You will be responsible for any costs of parking fines or others penalties incurred whilst you rent the vehicle. We reserve the right to make reasonable charges for our time incurred and the administration costs involved in processing any fines and/or penalties.
If you return the vehicle later than the time specified on the order confirmation sent by us, we reserve the right to charge you for the additional days that you have had possession of the vehicle. The charges incurred will be at the usual daily rental rate of that vehicle. This charge will be taken from your deposit. If you are attempting to return the vehicle on time but are held up by unforeseen circumstances, you should contact the local branch to inform them of the delay.
No. From 8th June 2015 the driving licence counterpart is no longer legally valid. You will need to download a code from the DVLA website no more than 3 days before you collect your vehicle. For full details please click here
