See behind the scenes of our Van Driver Radio ad

As of the beginning of May, we are on air on five radios stations nationwide, including Talksport, Absolute Radio, Radio X, LBC and Dax. You might also hear us on popular music streaming service, Spotify.

There are three different versions of the 30-second radio ad. Each of the ads addresses a common van related problem that businesses across the UK are facing daily.

One of the ads features Craig, a builder whose van has broken down due to a faulty exhaust. The other is about Alfie, a plumber who has just finished his contract early and is now left with extra unused vans. The third features Steph, a lighting business owner who has just been hit with unexpected MOT repair bills.

Whilst our characters are fictional, the problems they are presented with are real challenges for businesses. In each scenario, we apply vanonomics to solve them.

Do the presenters sound familiar? The talented Denise Van Outen and Harry Enfield are the voices behind the Van Driver Radio ad.

‘Vanonomics’ has been created by blending two words together, ‘van’ and ‘economics’. The concept behind vanonomics is a smart way of thinking, i.e. why pay for things you don’t use or make tasks harder than they need to be? When it comes to vans, this means meeting the needs of businesses in a practical and financially savvy way. Vanonomics is the way many Northgate customers and businesses approach their vehicle needs.
